Reederei Astromare was founded by the shipping families Nagel and Jens. Currently MS „Astrosprinter“ is part of Reederei Astromare. In 2019 Elbdeich Reederei acquired 50 % shares of Reederei Astromare who is managed by Torben Jens, Jan Nagel, Peter Frese and Jens Moje.
